| Colangelo Racing is building a 2006 Jerry Bickel pro stock car, with a 1994 z34 chevy lumina body. This car will be competing in NHRA B/AA Comp Eliminator Division. We will be running a 466 cubic inch Chevy big block engine on racing gas, and the transmission will be a 2 speed Powerglide specily built by Ric Colangelo himself. Also all of the Research and Development will be performed by Ric Colangelo as well. The is a state of the art racing vehicle and will run very consistent in this class. The car will weigh around 2,475 pounds, including the driver. Completion of the car is targeted for the end of November 2011. At that time, we hope to run and test the car by year’s end to prepare for the 2012 season and the battle for the Winternationals in Pomona in February of 2012. The 2012 schedule will be posted on our website as soon as the dates become available. |
